About Amplify

We connect clinicians with innovative technologies that make an impact

Clinically driven. Digitally inspired.

Amplify Care is a not-for-profit, founded as the eHealth Centre of Excellence in 2014, and was established to support clinicians and their teams with the innovative solutions that meet their needs and improve patient experience. Our goal is to use technology to enable improved clinical workflows and enhance patient outcomes, empowering clinicians with tools that reduce administrative burden and improve patient care.

We are the leading, trusted digital health partner for primary care and integrated patient care

It is our mission to enable a more accessible and streamlined healthcare system for clinicians and patients alike – we’re all about enhancing clinical pathways and experiences!

We’re striving for a future in which our healthcare system is connected

Our vision is to transform and modernize healthcare delivery using innovative solutions that fit seamlessly into clinical workflows.

Our values are

Putting patients at the centre

Patients are at the heart of everything we do: we believe that every patient deserves a seamless, efficient, and personalized healthcare experience – our digital health solutions and services work to simplify and enhance their journey across the care spectrum.

Amplifying clinician voices

As a clinician-led organization, we hold a deep respect for clinicians and their efforts to support our communities and are committed to amplifying clinician voices and ensuring that clinicians are empowered with the right tools to continue providing the best possible care.

Driven by evidence, focused on impact

We are committed to grounding our work in evidence, continuously evaluating the effectiveness of our digital health tools to ensure they are delivering measurable, positive outcomes for both patients and clinicians.

Pillars of support

We believe in meeting clinicians where they are, providing tailored support and guidance to ensure seamless adoption of digital health tools that truly enhance their workflows.

We believe in the power of partnerships

By partnering with healthcare organizations and digital health vendors, we bring together our collective knowledge and experiences to drive initiatives that enhance care delivery, improve patient outcomes, and shape the future of healthcare through shared innovation and expertise.

Our commitment to DEI

At Amplify Care, we have committed to the following Statement on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion:

Here at Amplify Care, we believe in a healthcare system that is completely and wholly equitable, that serves all equally regardless of race, class, gender, sexual orientation or any other identificatory category. We are committed to acknowledging, understanding, and confronting systemic oppression in all its various and insidious forms. As a digital health organization, it is our mission to support and cultivate a more connected and accessible healthcare experience. We pledge to use our collective knowledge and digital health expertise to dismantle any barriers patients may face when attempting to access healthcare.

We will accomplish this by creating an inclusive workplace environment that embraces diversity, with non-biased recruitment and accessibility policies as well as a zero-tolerance response to discriminatory behaviours. We will also seek out learning opportunities for our team, so we can all continue to grow our understanding of the impacts of systemic racism. These actions will enable Amplify Care to see our work through the lens of anti-oppression, which will ensure that our digital health initiatives and products are developed with diversity, equity and inclusion at top of mind.

Our story

We started off with a handful of digital health enthusiasts in the basement office of a clinic in Kitchener Ontario. Our group may have been small but we were mighty: driven by passion and an unwavering commitment to improving experiences in care, our efforts sparked real change and attracted other innovative thinkers in the field, leading to continued growth and expansion.

In our early days, we supported initiatives in the Waterloo Wellington region and have since grown into a trusted national partner in digital health. Today, we proudly work at local, provincial, and national levels, leading initiatives that are transforming healthcare delivery and making a lasting impact on the systems and communities we serve.
